Anastasia Mikolyuk
Anastasia is a freelancer in the Seattle film industry. She works as a Prop Master, Special Effects tech, and Set Dresser on both union and non-union projects.
Anastasia started her film career while still in film school in Chicago. She has worked on large budget TV shows like The Chi, Chicago Justice, as well as commercials and indie films.
In 2019 she relocated to Seattle, and shortly after joined Local 488 as a set dresser. Since moving to Seattle she has worked on a large variety of projects, from small indie shorts and music videos, to union episodic shows.
Within the art department, she has worked as a prop master and fabricator, lead person, special effects tech and set dresser, giving her a a wide variety of skills to pull from for any type of creative pursuit.
She works tirelessly to bring any project to the highest standard possible, and pays close attention to the fine details of every job. She loves learning new skills and adapting existing ones to every individual challenge that different projects presents, and goes the extra mile to make sure the creative vision is realized in its fullest.
Aside from working in art department, she is also well versed in darkroom photography, and is constantly teaching herself and refining new skills, such as mold making and casting, sewing, and woodworking.
